About MPK
So you’re looking at a typical, Type A personality, who did everything early. I started my first business as a wholesaling used furniture queen in Tucson Arizona . I bought my first “brick and mortar” business in 1990—a furniture new and used store (we are moving on up!).
I married and jumped right into a family, having my first daughter in 1991. Getting bored (as many entrepreneurs do), I moved up to the mountains of Arizona to Prescott and bought a little café. This was hard work, marriage didn’t work out, so HE got the furniture store and I got the café.
Loved living on coffee and ice cream, but got bored again and took a job at a radio station. (Notice I don’t seem to get rid of the businesses, I just takes new ones).
Not surprisingly, that didn’t last too long. I went back into business for myself as the President and Chief Strategist of Strategic Results Marketing. You can read more about that up top.
But to fast forward to today, I am now in Utah where the most gorgeous mountains in the country also reside. I love the snow and the sun, and Utah has LOTS of both. It is also the only place outside a 3rd World country that you can say, “I ONLY have 4 kids!” And I do–four beautiful girls, a golden retriever and of course, a great husband who puts up with all us!
As for business? I have also realized that what I do best is help my clients create GREAT RELATIONSHIPS! So that is what I do. I specialize in creating strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and long-lasting, profitable relationships.
And my passion lies in teaching mompreneurs how to use social media to facilitate profitable, long-lasting relationships to build their business and accomplish their lifestyle goals!

Hi Marypat!
I finally got up the nerve to visit your Mompreneur site, takes courage for a guy who only has 1 daughter almost ready to go off to college and 1 son, who is already out of the house, to visit a site geared for mom’s who are entrepreneurs as well.
Much to my delight, and for the first time, I get to see your whole family in one group photo. What a terrific photo.
MaryPat, I like your site as well, and as you know, I’ll recommend the mompreneurs that I know to come and check this out.
I’m so proud of you for stepping into faith around this project! This is just another indication of how you take your passions, mixed with thought and intentions, put then into action, and be in total alignment with who you are in the world.
I wish you so much success with this, my Queen!
Warmly,
Steve
